Location: Pine Ridge, SD

• On-site one 4-day work week per month (Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

• Additional remote consultation options

• Travel reimbursement or stipend negotiable

• Start ASAP or next school year

 

Job Type & Compensation: Part-Time Contract (4 consecutive days per month)

 $70 - $80 per hour + $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

 Flexible scheduling – Ideal for contract psychologists, retirees, or professionals balancing multiple roles

 

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for special education services

• Administer and interpret psychological assessments and provide intervention recommendations

• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and community professionals to address academic, behavioral, and psychological concerns

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support plans

• Provide individual and group counseling on academic success, social skills, and behavior management

• Assist in the development of schoolwide intervention programs (e.g., anti-bullying, conflict resolution)

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal education guidelines

 

Qualifications

•  Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology of School Social Work(Required)

•  Active School Psychologist of Social Work License (any state)

•  Experience working in schools (preferred)

•  Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and psychoeducational assessments

•  Strong communication and organizational skills

•  Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

•  Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
